Called to be Church has been unveiled by the Albany Diocese by Bishop Howard Hubbard. It is a two year-long planning effort by Catholics to imagine the future of the Diocese. The logo interprets Jesus parable of the sower by showing His hands distributing seeds. Around the image are the words “Called to be Church” and “Diocese of Albany: Pastoral Planning.” The idea of the design is to remind Catholics that they are the hands of Jesus, carrying on His work in many ways throughout your parish and area community. This is a process that involves the Catholic community as a whole family. We all realize that even the smallest of changes can have a big effect on our community and environment. We should also realize that change can be a good thing and bring about new efforts to enlarge our community. This page will keep you updated on the planning process within our parish and the Diocese, so please come back often to see what is happening and for any announcements on planning events.
